Our unique and vivid offering celebrates Great Britain’s ongoing fascination with tea by drawing on historic flavors. The tin is decorated with 18th-century teapots in The Met collection.

In the 17th century, the first teas that came to England from China were green teas, an ancient aspect of East Asian culture. The subsequent development and export of black teas led to their widespread popularity—including the variation, with a distinct lemony bergamot flavor, named for Charles, the 2nd Earl Grey.
